From humble beginnings, Teckka has slowly grown into a family-run business with decades of craftmanship and innovation behind it.

The company's journey began with its founder, supported by his wife, handcrafting concrete ornaments in their family garage. After years of refining his skills, Pen-Stone Products was founded in 1992, opening its first showroom in Penarth, South Wales—the origin of it's name.

Through a commitment to quality and creativity, the business expanded from concrete into quartz and granite, specialising in high-quality kitchen and bathroom worktops. With this new focus came a new name—Cardiff Granite—a brand built on precision, reliability, and a reputation for excellence.

As the company grew, it welcomed the founder's son and daughter to the team, both carrying forward the same principles and passion that built the business. Working closely together with kitchens and bathrooms, the team saw first-hand the steep mark-ups on high end, branded fixtures and fittings.

Determined to offer better value without compromising on quality, they began sourcing and supplying their own range. This led to the creation of Teckka, which continues to operate alongside Cardiff Granite from the same showroom in South Wales-and has since welcomed a second daughter to the team.
